And to help us along this path we are pleased to introduce you to our team members and departments here at Wollaston who will be the key players in helping us acheive this goal. First up to the plate are our New BMW and AUC managers Robert Day and Stephen Hall.

ROBERT DAY, NEW BMW SALES MANAGER

Robert Day heads up the busy new car department here at the dealership and manages a team that comprises of Andy Payne, Richard Rhodes, Tony Soto and Bob Thompson. There is a lot to organise with new car launches and weekend events but on his weekends off you're likely to find him out on the golf course...

Career/jobs before Wollaston: 20 years in the motor-trade.  

Responsbilities of current job: Achieving BMW volume, CSI objectives and internal budget. And of course, keeping the customers happy!  

What's the best thing about working at Wollaston?: It's an independent, customer focused business.

Most memorable event: The birth of both my children. 

Favourite BMW model: E39 528 Sport.  

Thought for the day: Experience is a wonderful thing - it lets you recognise a mistake when you make it again. 

Interests outside of work: Golf and my family (but not necessarily in that order!)

Currently on the iPod playlist: The Avett Brothers and Ben Folds.

Three likes: Red wine, manners, my children.

Three dislikes: Inconsiderate people, brussel sprouts, running out of red wine.

STEPHEN HALL, USED CAR SALES MANAGER

At Wollaston we have a huge range of BMW Approved Used Cars available and Stephen has almost an encyclopaedic memory for managing to keep track of every single one, always keeping an eye out to make sure we give you the best value and offer the best selection of models. On top of this he manages a team of 6 sales staff: Chris Smith, John Mullarkey, Ken Walters, Pete White, Adam Jeyes and Prem Dawett, and more staff behind the scenes as well! 

Career/jobs before Wollaston: I have 7 years previous experience with Volkswagen and Audi dealerships with 27 years experience in the motor-trade including my time here at Wollaston.

Responsibilities of current job: Managing a team of 6 sales people, 1 business manager, 1 buyer and 2 admin staff.

What's the best thing about working at Wollaston: The autonomy and trust I'm given in my job role, but the management support that's there if I ever need it.

Qualifications/courses: I have attended many sales and management courses over the years.

Favourite BMW model: 635d Sport Convertible

Thought for the day: Don't put off until tomorrow what can be done today.

Interests outside of work: Shopping, live music and walking my dog (a Waimerana).

Currently on the iPod playlist: Joe Bonamassa and Pink Floyd.

Last film seen: Sherlock Holmes

Ideal holiday destination: Hawaii.
