Handover and operation instructions were excellent, this was my first automatic car so I was a bit nervous at first. Really appreciate the time and patience given to explain how things work. My old car was manual and much less technically advanced.

There remains a problem with the service history on the car. There is a complaint registered with BMW customer service under reference BMW-06847910 which is still unresolved. I am still waiting for a response.

Overall everything was good. The only negative was that I got stuck in slow moving traffic just down the road from the garage. At this point the inside of the car filled with smoke. I'm guessing some oil had been spilt in the engine bay.

Service and MOT was carried out effectively and efficiently with no irritating and unnecessary advisories on the MOT. Please see below for more comments. A £10 deduction for no car wash was a nice touch.

My car needed 2 recalls, the paperwork only showed the one so I had to go back in to ask if the other was done, all they did was write it on my printed paperwork so I have to trust it's been done. Admin side needs to be better but overall experience

When I booked it, I had been asked to add any requirements on the form eg Please wash my car. So I wrote that on the form because I knew I had another journey in the car with friends afterwards, my car unfortunately wasn't washed when I collected it.

From my perspective, I tend to have a waiting service etc so I am able to work on my computer on a week day. However, the temporary service area does not have Desk/Chairs with charging points to make it comfortable for laptop users etc

Wollaston are in temporary accommodation and failed to notify me in advance of my booking. I turned up to a deserted workshop and was advised where to go by a demolition workman. It wasn't a show-stopper but I was disappointed.

Very good booking system, efficient at check in (I did the on line check in) however told I could collect from 16.00, I arrived 15.45 as I had the safety check video much earlier, I ended up chasing at16.40 and collected the car at 16.55 Not the best

MY ONL CRITICISM IS THAT IT TOOK LONGER THAN I EXPECTED AND WAS TOLD. 10 O'CLOCK WAS MY APPOINTMENT AND I COULD SEE FROM MY SEAT THAT THE CAR WASN'T TAKEN TO THE SERVICE ARE FOR SOME 15 MINUTES LATER AND I WAS AT THE GARAGE FOR 3 HOURS.

Everything that was planned was done and the health check revealed that I had two severely damaged tyres, probably resulting from pot holes, without the check these would not have been found. The dealership organised replacement tyres.
