Wollaston BMW Service Update

Since our initial communication confirming our temporary closure following the government’s shutdown of non-essential retail businesses, we continued to maintain a small operational team at Wollaston Motors. This team has been working to keep our digital doors open, providing support to Customers & Keyworkers answering any questions relating to our operations.

We have continued to focus upon our team’s health and wellbeing by operating with the minimum amount of resource to maintain our operations. We have shared with you updates received from GOV.UK regarding MOT extensions and BMW UK regarding service and warranty extensions.

Over the past two weeks we have witnessed a large reduction in the number of enquiries we receive. This is completely understandable given the switch in focus to the welfare of families and friends, and while we have been on hand to offer advice on all matters relating to your BMW, MINI & Motorrad, we also understand that this is not our customers main priority at this time.

This has provided us with the opportunity for further review and to protect more of our team members, by reducing the number of people we need to remain in the business to support customers during this period of lockdown.

We remain ready and able to provide you with the latest and most up to date information on the exciting range of models being introduced this year while recognising that this is not the time to encourage your thoughts away from family and friends.

Therefore, with effect from Wednesday 8th April we will be further reducing the number of team members as we temporarily close down our customer facing and digital channels.

We will continue to provide essential maintenance and recovery work for Keyworkers within the NHS and Emergency Services including ancillary services. If you are a Keyworker and need our assistance with your vehicle, please contact us using the following email address:

I apologise in advance for any frustration or challenges these changes may present for you as one of our customers and hope that you will be understanding of the unusual circumstances we find ourselves in.

As a business we continue to balance our customers’ needs against the health and wellbeing of our valued team members while still supporting the government’s advice to stay at home.

I know I speak for the whole team when I say how much we are looking forward to seeing all our valued customers again when we are able to reopen our businesses to the public once more.
